Career Summary

Apprenticeship as an boat builder, engaged in newbuilding and repair of fishing and sailing boats. Study of Shipbuilding and Maritime engineering. Working as repair manager before entered an IACS classification society as an exclusive surveyor. Working mainly in South Korea and the Netherlands for newbuilding, repair and statutory surveys on different types of ships. Appointed as an surveyor for the Federal Republic of Germany for statutory surveys. Experiences as superintendent in an oil tanker company in charge for newbuilding supervision and running fleet before joining SA.

Specialist Knowledge

Naval Architect. Worked as ship repair manager, exclusive Class Surveyor, maritime administration surveyor and superintendent on tankers. Besides experiences with wooden traditional sailing, aluminium and GRP boats.
